The Playhouse Stomp, with the best of the area college bands is returning to the Main Stage to rock the house on Tuesday, August 17th!

Headlining is lespecial, popular local band known for their aggressive improvisation, eclectic style, and ability to energize the crowd. Playing together for over 6 years, they consist of Jon Grusauskas (lead guitar), Luke Bemand (electric bass) and Rory Dolan (drums).
lespecial have been making the festival circuit this summer, having just returned from The Big Up in Ghent, NY, Rhino Fest in VT, and they’ll be playing at the Great Gig in the Sky later this month.
Said Luke Bemand, “We have been playing out of state a lot this summer, and our local gigs are only for 21yrs.and older, so we’re glad to end the summer with this chance for everyone to come together for a great performance.”
Rory Dolan added: “We had a great time playing at TriArts last summer; the professional lights and sound system all add to the atmosphere.” The three musicians are music majors at college; Mr. Bemand and Mr. Dolan are studying at Berklee College of Music; Mr. Grusauskas just graduated from Bennington College.
