The TriArts Trumpet
No. 2 / Vol 10 E-mail Newsletter January 26, 2010

In Memory:

TriArts mourns the loss of Judy Linscott, longtime supporter and former Board member going back to our days in Pine Plains.  A graduate of Skidmore College, Judy had worked as an editor for the Brooklyn Phoenix, NYC Chamber of Commerce and the New York Daily News. Here in the Northwest Corner, she was a freelance journalist for many years and was copy editor for The Lakeville Journal.  In addition to TriArts, Judy was active in local events and organizations including serving as president of the Friends of the Scoville Library in Salisbury and as a board member of Women’s Support Services.  TriArts extends love, support, and sympathy to Judy's husband, Ezra Zask, and their daughter, Anna.

Audition Workshop coming up Saturday Jan. 30th

"Put audition fears to rest. Spend two hours with NY Casting Director Kelly Briggs and TriArts Artistic Director Michael Berkeley in a fun, safe environment learning helpful tips on how to audition successfully. Attendees will be invited to "audition" with their songs, receiving helpful critiques. Or you may just observe and take notes. A very valuable two hours for anyone who has ever or ever will find themselves auditioning for a musical." Visit the triarts Web site for more information.
