Calling all nuns...Austrians...Texans...singers,
dancers, and actors of all ages for our
upcoming 2012 Season!
TriArts remains committed to the notion that the best shows come from the heart where seasoned pros work side-by-side with the rich talents of our community.
While The Sound of Music will offer opportunities for the largest number of community talent, all roles are available for all shows. The high-spirited, satirical, and warm-hearted Best Little Whorehouse in Texas features an array of Texans from age 21 and up. Altar Boyz is looking for five triple-threat men age 18-30, with pop/hip hop dance styles. The classic Sound of Music offers roles for seven children, many character roles for men and women, and a large ensemble. For Divas Do the 40s! we will be auditioning new Diva talent to add to our Diva family, and this year we are seeking six Shirley Temples for a special feature in the Diva show.
We encourage everyone to audition - as always, we attempt to make the audition a positive and friendly experience. Screening auditions for CT performers will take place at the Bok Gallery on February 10 & 11. Please email audrey@triarts.net for an appointment and visit www.triarts.net for more information and character breakdowns.
Hope to see you at the auditions!
Best,
Michael Berkeley

Two workshops are available on Saturday, January 28; from 12-2 pm for children ages 8-13, and from 3-5 pm for adults and high school students. The workshop fee is $20 – reservations may be made by contacting audrey@triarts.net.
The workshops will provide valuable audition tips, including song selection and tricks to combat audition fears and participants will have the opportunity to try out an audition song.
